The Education resilience in Europe initiative, supported by the Scientix STE(A)M Partnerships and funded by Cisco, aims to identify, and support projects which address the challenges encountered while integrating students from different cultural and language backgrounds.

The overall objective of the project Spark the Use of STEAM outdoor (Portugal) is to lay the foundations for the implementation and uptake of the STEAM approach in Early Childhood Education by making knowledge and activities related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics available for early childhood education teachers and children.

As atividades STEAM foram desenvolvidas com o objetivo de fomentar a aprendizagem ao ar livre, incluindo conceitos de educação ambiental. As atividades seguem um processo de desenho baseado em quatro passos – 1) Problema; 2) Investigação; 3)Design & Teste; 4) Apresentação & Comunicação -, permitindo uma experiência de aprendizagem transdisciplinar e baseada em projetos.
